Last summer, the Trump administration and its backers in Congress “defunded” Planned Parenthood in a targeted attempt to block patients from care at Planned Parenthood health centers. Now, Congressional Republicans plan to extend the “defund” law, permanently. 

Continuing their unconstitutional attempt to block patients from getting lifesaving care — like cancer screenings and STI testing and treatment — will have devastating consequences for the health and lives of millions. Last year, 51 Planned Parenthood health centers were forced to permanently close, leaving thousands of patients with fewer options, higher costs, and less freedom to make their own decisions about their lives, bodies, and futures.

What you can do: Call your member of Congress and tell them to stop the "defund" — and oppose any attempt to push the "defunding" of Planned Parenthood. With so much on the line, they need to hear how important Planned Parenthood is to the people they represent.
