House Republicans just brought back their dangerous health care legislation. We can't let it get one step further. Here's what you need to know and how to take action.

After the embarrassing failure of his disastrous health care repeal bill, Paul Ryan is back and about to hold a vote on version 2.0. Make no mistake: This version is even worse than the bill Americans resoundingly rejected last month.

This latest attack on access to care goes even further by allowing states to easily eliminate essential health benefits like maternity care and allowing insurers to charge people with pre-existing conditions excessively high amounts for coverage — and yes, it also aims to "defund" Planned Parenthood health centers by prohibiting Medicaid patients from getting care from the doctors they trust.

Want to know how bad this new bill is? The politicians who drafted it made sure it'd apply to every American family except for members of Congress and their own staff. They're willing to protect access to care for themselves, but not for the millions of people who stand to lose coverage if their plan passes.

Our voices stopped this bill last time — and we need you to speak out again now, stronger than ever, to put an end to this dangerous new legislation.  Speak out and call your representative now telling them to reject this disastrous bill in no uncertain terms.

This isn't the first — or even fourth — attack on reproductive health we've seen from politicians in Congress and the White House this year. The reinstatement and expansion of the global gag rule, voting away essential protections for the Title X family planning program, gutting international family planning funds — the all-out war on women and families in this new administration has been unprecedented. Enough is enough.

We've defeated Republicans' terrible attempts at health care reform before, and we can do it again now. We knew from the get-go they wouldn't go down easily, and the fight would take time. Help us flood Congress with calls now.
