A new Congress was just sworn in — which means we are entering  the most dangerous moment in Planned Parenthood’s history. That’s saying a lot given the immense fights Planned Parenthood has faced over the last 100 years.

 

Why Planned Parenthood is Under Attack Like Never Before

The federal government is now in the hands of extreme lawmakers who have tried for years to ban abortion and shut down Planned Parenthood health centers. Their attacks are just a part of a larger, extreme agenda to ban abortion entirely and cut women off from care. They now have the power to make their dangerous agenda a reality. And they are are dead set on blocking 2.5 million people a year from accessing care at Planned Parenthood health centers.

You heard that right: If extreme politicians succeed, millions will lose the care they rely on each year — with people of color, those with low incomes, and folks in rural areas most affected.

Without the promise of a presidential veto, there’s only one thing that can stop this destructive agenda: Us. You, me, and millions of Planned Parenthood supporters locked arm in arm. Our voices have never been more important – and we need to get loud now.

With your signature, you’re telling Congress that you’re a part of the majority of Americans who oppose blocking patients from care care at Planned Parenthood health centers.

We Won’t Back Down

It's going to take all of us standing together to defend reproductive health and rights in the face of this latest attack. And that solidarity is already happening: Since the election Planned Parenthood supporters have stepped up in some amazing ways, donating their time, money, and resources to prepare us for the battle to come.
