Last summer, President Trump and his backers in Congress passed a law aiming to block people who use Medicaid from using their insurance to get care at Planned Parenthood health centers.  Now, Congressional Republicans want to make this permanent. 

This law has already harmed people around the country who turn to Planned Parenthood health centers for cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, birth control, and other affordable, time-sensitive care. Last year, 51 Planned Parenthood health centers were forced to permanently close, leaving thousands of patients with fewer options, higher costs, and less freedom to make their own decisions about their lives, bodies, and futures.

Health care, gas prices, and groceries are already too expensive. We need leaders to make these things easier to get — not harder and more expensive.

What you can do: Call your member of Congress and tell them to stop the attacks on Planned Parenthood health centers — and oppose any legislation that attempts to “defund” Planned Parenthood. With so much on the line, they need to hear how important Planned Parenthood is to the people they represent.
