Action Fund Members Rally in Arizona for Mark Kelly’s Bid for the U.S. Senate

200 Planned Parenthood Action Fund members from across the state joined together to support Mark Kelly’s Senate campaign

PHOENIX – Planned Parenthood Action Fund (Action Fund) hosted a members-only event at Living United for Change Arizona (LUCHA) to celebrate the endorsement of special guest Mark Kelly, candidate for United States Senate. This at-capacity event brought together 200 enthusiastic and fired up sexual and reproductive rights Action Fund members of diverse ages and racial backgrounds. These Action Fund members came from across the state to continue building momentum behind Mark Kelly, a bold reproductive health champion. For the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and 13 million Planned Parenthood supporters nationwide, taking back a pro-sexual and reproductive health majority in the U.S. Senate is a top priority — and Arizona will play a critical role in turning the Senate pink.

Also in attendance were Kelly's wife, former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, a longtime champion of reproductive rights as well; Planned Parenthood Action Fund-endorsed candidate for AZ-06, Dr. Hiral Tipirneni; and several state legislators and local elected officials.
