Washington, DC  Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, this evening released the following statement in response to the letter delivered by the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and subsequently released by Congressional leaders.

“With so much at stake in this election, leaders in both parties agree that complete details of the information being reviewed should be released in full. The American public deserves transparency, rather than a vague letter that allows an ambiguous situation to be exploited by Donald Trump for political gain.

“Voters have grown tired of Donald Trump’s overwhelmingly negative campaign. His negativity has distracted from serious conversations about challenges facing families across the country – like equal pay and access to health care. When faced with the choice of who will make life better for people in America, voters overwhelmingly choose Hillary Clinton.”
