Washington, DC -- Planned Parenthood Action Fund released the following statement on news that Hillary Clinton has won Democratic primary races in Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina.

Results continue to come in from Missouri and Illinois.

Statement from Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

“It is no surprise Hillary has secured victories from the east coast to the midwest to the south tonight. Our country needs her vision, leadership and relentless passion to move us forward into a future where equality and access to reproductive health care are a reality for everyone in our society regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, country of origin, or socioeconomic status.

“This commitment is important now more than ever. As we continue to see increasing displays of hatefulness this election season, Hillary continues to deliver her message of equality and unity. These are values we are proud to live by every day at Planned Parenthood - which is why we are With Her.”

Cecile Richards campaigned as a volunteer for the Clinton campaign this past weekend in both Ohio and Missouri.
