Washington. DC -- Planned Parenthood Action Fund issued the following statement from President Cecile Richards today on Hillary Clinton’s victory in Kentucky.

Statement from Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

“Tonight, Kentucky has shown us what we already know: Hillary Clinton has the experience to be the Democratic nominee and the next President of the United States. Reproductive health care is under attack from every Republican candidate for president and we continue to see increasing displays of hatefulness this election season. As Hillary continues to deliver her message of equality and unity, she also proves why she will stand up to politicians trying to cut birth control, life-saving cancer screenings, and access to safe, legal abortion.  With Hillary in the White House, women will have an advocate for equal pay, affordable birth control, and someone who truly values health equity and reproductive rights. We need that kind of leadership now more than ever.”
