Washington, DC –– Planned Parenthood Action Fund released the following statement in response to Donald Trump’s alarming remarks about the incident between his campaign manager and a reporter, Michelle Fields:

“Too often victims of violence and abuse stay silent, and Donald Trump’s remarks today demonstrate one of the reasons why. This is not a man who deserves to be in the White House. It is terrifying that Donald Trump is the GOP’s leading candidate for president. His actions today underscore that it is a fiction that he has been or would be supportive of any woman in this country."
