Washington, DC - As she continues todrop in the polls, Carly Fiorina’s lies about a video involving Planned Parenthood were exposed again last night when the maker of the videoadmitted that it was edited.  In an interview last night with CNN, David Daleiden admitted that he had not only edited the video, but that he hasno clue where the misleading footage came from originally and when it took place.

After acknowledging that the story and the video do not match, Daleiden was pressed to answer where and when the video was filmed.  He asked, “You don’t know where this video came from?”  And Daleiden responded, “I don't know the exact location or the date.”

Later in the interview, the CNN reporter asks, “This is actually what Carly Fiorina was talking about, right? This is that video. But you can't tell me right now if this was even at a Planned Parenthood facility.  Daleiden responded, “It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.”  This video has nothing to do with Planned Parenthood.

Quote from Eric Ferrero, Vice President for Communications, Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

"For weeks, Carly Fiorina has flat-out lied about Planned Parenthood.  Now, even the extreme anti-abortion activist behind this fraudulent smear campaign has confirmed that the video she described simply doesn't exist. Carly Fiorina thought that attacking Planned Parenthood would be her defining moment as a candidate -- and it was, defining her as a total and unapologetic liar."

Daleiden added his name to a list of virtually every fact-checker who has agreed that Fiorina islying about the video.  Her lies are part of an extreme and dangerous agenda to ban abortion and restrict access to essential reproductive health care for millions.
