WASHINGTON, DC — Tonight, Planned Parenthood Action Fund applauded Chris Pappas for winning the Democratic primary in New Hampshire's First District.

Statement from Dawn Laguens, Executive Vice President, Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

Chris has been a champion for women’s health and reproductive rights for the people of New Hampshire throughout his career. Today, he is one step closer to representing the interests of Granite Staters in the halls of Congress. We stand with Chris Pappas because he has consistently stood with women and Planned Parenthood patients.

Sabrina Dunlap, Vice President of Public Policy, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund:

We are thrilled with Chris Pappas’ win in the New Hampshire Democratic primary tonight. New Hampshire primary voters had many good candidates to choose from, but Chris’ strong and proven record when it comes to supporting Planned Parenthood patients and reproductive rights set him apart — which is why Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorsed him in this race. Chris Pappas is the right person to protect our health and our rights, including access to safe, legal abortion.
