Planned Parenthood Action Fund congratulates the winners of yesterday’s New York primaries.  Action Fund-endorsed candidates who won competitive primaries were Julian Schreibman (NY-19), and Representative Yvette Clarke (NY-9).

“We are proud to congratulate all of our endorsed candidates in New York who won their primaries yesterday,” said Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund.  “The New York delegation has long been a critical partner for Planned Parenthood on key women’s health issues.  Particularly with women’s health under relentless attack in Congress, we are so thrilled that the delegation will be stronger than ever, advocating for quality women’s health care for all New Yorkers.”

Additional winners include Action Fund-endorsed candidate Dan Maffei (NY-24) and Representatives Tim Bishop (NY-1), Steve Israel (NY-3), Carolyn McCarthy (NY-4), Jerrold Nadler (NY-10), Carolyn Maloney (NY-12), Joe Crowley (NY-14), Nita Lowey (NY-17), Bill Owens (NY-21), Louise Slaughter (NY-25), Kathy Hochul (NY-27), and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
