Planned Parenthood Action Fund released the following statement on tonight’s  primary results:

Statement from Dawn Laguens, Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

“Tonight the choice in this election becomes crystal clear. On the one hand, we have Donald Trump, a dangerous bully we can’t afford. Electing Donald Trump as president would send a message to employers, legislators, people across this country, and around the world that racism and sexism are now American values. Donald Trump doesn’t understand the lives of women and families, and worse, he goes out of his way to demean them.

“On the other hand, we have Hillary Clinton, a fierce and proven champion for women and for families. She understands and cares about our lives. Clinton knows our country can’t move ahead if women are left behind. Clinton has spent her life fighting to change the system for those who have been left out. And Clinton will keep fighting for us -- even if she has to take on  all of Congress to do so. We stand with her because she has stood for us.”
