Planned Parenthood Statement on Hillary Clinton at NH Town Hall
For Immediate Release: Feb. 12, 2016
Statement from Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund
“Hillary Clinton said it best herself tonight: ‘It is still the case that there are challenges and obstacles to young women's ambitions.’ Which is why Hillary Clinton is working everyday to break down gender, racial, reproductive and economic barriers in this country and open doors to all who deserve a greater voice in our democracy.”
In Hillary Clinton’s own words:
“It is still the case that there are challenges and obstacles to young women's ambitions, and i'm going to try to break the highest and hardest glass ceiling - I hope it splinters completely. And I hope for your daughters it opens doors that might not be open right now for them. Regardless of whether any of them ever do anything politically in their lives, their professions, how they're treated, I hope it does give them more of a sense of empowerment. That’s what i want for my daughter and my amazing granddaughter and that's what i want for your daughters.”
