The Planned Parenthood Action Fund compiles a scorecard to educate and inform the public about the records of Congress members' support for issues related to sexual and reproductive health. The scores are based on votes on key legislation related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund calculates a members' score by dividing the number of supportive votes during the current and preceding six sessions of Congress by the total number of votes taken by that member relating to sexual and reproductive health. Below are the scores for each member shown by individual Congress. Please click on a members’ name to see their cumulative score. The cumulative score in their profile is considered their current Planned Parenthood Action Fund Score.

Any recorded votes taken by the full House or Senate are eligible to be scored, including votes on: bills, amendments, resolutions, nominations, and presidential veto overrides. Both final passage and procedural votes may be scored.
