Washington, DC – Planned Parenthood Action Fund released the following statement regarding tonight’s GOP primary.

Statement from Dawn Laguens, Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

“Donald Trump is going to be the GOP nominee for president of the United States. That should strike fear in the hearts of all Americans.”

Background: A Donald Trump presidency is truly frightening

  • Women cannot trust Donald Trump to lead this country

    • Donald Trump threatens women’s access to health care, promising to appoint anti-abortion judges to the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

    • Trump has said he would punish women and/or doctors for accessing or providing abortion

    • Trump told GOP voters that electing him president is their best chance at banning abortion.

    • Trump supports shutting down the government over Planned Parenthood funding.

    • Trump promises that in his first 100 days, he’d start to repeal Obamacare, stripping women of no-copay birth control, which at least 55 million women have benefitted from.
