Who run the world?

Primary results are out and we are excited to see the results for the candidates we endorsed!

We want to give a HUGE congrats to Teresa Mosqueda (Seattle City Council) and Manka Dhingra (State Senate) on their impressive primary wins!

We know Teresa will be a voice we can count on at the Seattle City Council. We endorsed Teresa because she is committed to fighting for health care access for all and we know she will stand up for Planned Parenthood in the face of attacks.

Manka is an experienced community leader, a skilled King County Prosecutor, co-founder of API Chaya, an organization that supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, and a Parent Teacher Student Association parent. Flipping the 45th would mean that we can expand our rights and our access to health care.

Congratulations to the other candidates we endorsed as well!

From the top of the ticket all the way down, our rights depend on our vote. Women’s ability to make their own health care decisions depends on your vote. Families’ ability to make a living wage depends on your vote. Now, we look forward to November, where our votes will make the difference.

These races matter for you and me. The issues and the candidates on the ballot this year will set a precedent for years to come. This election is too important. We need leaders who will represent all Washingtonians, not politicians who put their own priorities before us.

Want to help us elect these candidates?  Make sure you’ve signed up to receive information email list so you can see the volunteer opportunities!
