Washington Candidate Endorsements

Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates supports state and local candidates who consistently take responsible positions on sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion, LGBTQ+ health care, birth control, and sex education. Through our endorsement process, we find, educate, endorse, and support candidates who will join us in fighting for Planned Parenthood, our patients, and the communities we serve as we work in pursuit of sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice for all people.

STATEWIDE BALLOT MEASURES

Make no mistake: These four initiatives are deeply destructive proposals that will harm Washington State and roll back progress we have made here in recent years. PPAA is strongly opposed to all four measures, which follow a clear pattern:

1. They are deliberately deceptive and misleading.

2. They seek to cut billions in funding for critical public priorities.

3. They advance a highly partisan, right-wing agenda that is out of step with our mainstream values in Washington State.

Candidate Endorsement Information

Learn more about our endorsement and approval process.

An approved candidate is fully supportive of inclusive and accessible sexual and reproductive health care, but may be in a race with another candidate similarly aligned on these issues. Approved candidates are not ranked. Approval indicates that a candidate has demonstrated support for Planned Parenthood’s patients, community members, and the issues for which we advocate.*
