The Women’s Legislative Caucus held its annual breakfast on Jan. 24th and announced that they will include our two priority bills in its package: SB 2340/HB 2126 and SB 2341/HB 2127. SB 2340/HB 2126 ensures certain benefits under the federal Affordable Care Act are preserved under Hawaii law. SB 2341/HB 2127 require insurers to cover a number of sexual and reproductive health services at no out-of-pocket cost and allows those who are currently not eligible for state family planning services due to citizenship status to receive the same critical health care.

We’ll also be supporting a number of other coalition bills. Check out the Bill Tracker to see which ones!
