Cientos de miles de votantes eligieron un SÍ sobre el Asunto 1, la enmienda del Derecho a la Libertad Reproductiva, consagrando el derecho al aborto en la constitución estatal de Ohio

COLUMBUS, OHIO — Tras una victoria clave en Ohio el día de hoy, con cientos de miles de personas en Ohio votando a favor de la enmienda del Derecho a la Libertad Reproductiva, Erica Wilson-Domer, presidenta y directora ejecutiva de Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio y Lauren Blauvelt, directora ejecutiva de Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, emitieron la siguiente declaración: 

“Esta victoria marca un nuevo comienzo para Ohio, donde las personas ahora tienen el derecho de tomar sus propias decisiones reproductivas sin interferencia del gobierno. Ohio se une a California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana y Vermont en lograr un triunfo definitivo para proteger el acceso al aborto en la boleta electoral, usando las herramientas de una democracia directa.
