TODAY: PLANNED PARENTHOOD ARIZONA ARGUES IN COURT OF APPEALS ON 1864 NEAR TOTAL ABORTION BAN: Today, the Arizona Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in Planned Parenthood Arizona’s (PPAZ) case against Attorney General Bronvich's efforts to allow enforcement of the state’s 1864 near-total abortion ban. Today’s hearing comes nearly two months after the Court of Appeals halted a state superior court’s September order that allowed the near-total ban on abortion to take effect for several weeks. Today’s oral arguments are the latest step in the fight to protect abortion access in Arizona.
