Channel your outrage into the #ResistanceRecess.
This week, the Trump announced a new "gag rule," his most dangerous attempt yet to control our bodies and deny patients access to care. The gag rule is an attempt to take away women’s basic rights. Period.
We still have time to stop Trump's devastating gag rule from becoming law.
The Memorial Day congressional recess (May 26 — June 4) is the perfect launch pad for our fight!
Already this week, Planned Parenthood supporters and reproductive rights advocates have rallied against the Trump-Pence administration's extreme gag rule in Missouri, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, Washington, D.C., and more. Over the next week, at least 20 more rallies will take place across the country, from Georgia to California.
Want to help rally? Find an action near you!
Have only a minute? Tell your lawmaker to oppose the gag rule!
And Don't Forget to Keep Opposing Wendy Vitter!
This week, Trump's latest judicial nominee, Wendy Vitter, became one step closer to becoming a federal judge for life. Vitter has a long record of opposing women’s health and rights, including access to safe, legal abortion. If she's approved, she’ll be in a position to make rulings that will affect our reproductive rights for generations to come.
Act now: Call your senators!
Thanks in part to your help, we were successful in delaying Vitter's Senate committee vote not once, but twice. Now, it's time to keep up the pressure!
